Article 13
Ancillary Powers, (offences against the law the Colony
In trying offences against the law applicable
to the Colony on the 24th December 1841 (as
modified by any enactment of the British Military
Administration) a Genebal Military Court and a
Summary Military Court may in addition to the
powers of fine and imprisonment given by any
Proclamation but subject thereto, exercise any of
the powers concerning the imposition and enforce-
ment of penalties or any of the matters dealt with
in section 12 hereof conferred by the law of the
Colony upon the Supreme Court and a Magistrate
respectively.
Article 14
Decisions of General Military Courts.
-The decision of a General Military Court
shall be in accordance with the opinion of the
majority of the members composing the court;
provided that sentence of death shall not be
passed on the decision of a majority unless such
majority included the person presiding over the
court.
Article 15
If in any

appears to the court, at any stage before finding
that for any reason the case is one which should
in the opinion of the court be tried by any other
court, the trial court may adjourn the proceedings
and transmit the record to the Deputy Director who
may thereupon. -
(a) direct that the trial shall proceed
before the transmitting court; or
